What is an AlumierMD Skin Peel?
Medical Grade skincare is only delivered by Medical professionals. Chemical peels cause controlled damage to the epidermis and/or the dermis with the goal of stimulating new tissue to improve skin texture and tone. This process reveals a smoother and more radiant complexion.
Potential side effects
These products may increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Please limit exposure to the sun and artificial UV light and apply a SPF 50 Sunscreen.
Post treatment advice
To maximize the effectiveness in the treated area you must refrain from touching the area. Avoid applying makeup for up to 12 hours. Avoid vigorous exercise after treatment and any facials for up to 72 hours. Avoid extreme sun exposure, UV light, freezing temperatures and sauna/steam rooms / jacuzzis for 2 weeks after treatment.
Always apply a SPF 50 Sunscreen
When is treatment not advisable
Most people can have AlumierMD Peels. However, you should NOT have this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We will of course review your medical history in full during your consultation to ensure this treatment is suitable for you.
